About Us

In 2016 Rob and Angela founded the company Activewayz to enable everyone to find maps and information that help them navigate hiking and biking routes across Australian and New Zealand. farOut Guides, the premier long distance hiking app, partnered with us to make our dream a reality.

You can choose easy rides, hike Inn to Inn or challenge yourself with something more remote. Rail Trails make a great place to start. There are long distance rides and hikes too, with trails such as the Heysen trail SA, Te Araroa NZ, Bibbulmun WA all over 1000km. For cyclists, our Networks link all the rideable roads in an area so you can create your own route. Every network has rides we have loved, such as the Munda Biddi, Mawson and Central West Cycle Trail.

farOut App routes include offline navigation, elevations, distances, amenities, food, resupply, accommodation, access and much more.
